The Henry County Sheriff's Office is committed to providing a well trained and informed staff to discharge their constitutional duties and law-enforcement functions for the citizens of Henry County. To accomplish this, the Professional Standards Unit was established in 2009 with the responsibility to propagate and reinforce professionalism throughout the agency. This includes the practices, conduct, appearance, ethics and integrity of our employees and to strengthen public confidence and cooperation within the community we serve.
Because the Sheriff's Office is committed to excellence, and the public has the right to expect a high degree of professional behavior from our personnel, the mission of the Professional Standards Unit is multi-functional.
