Explorer Post 97 Minimize

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is excited to support and host Explorer Post 97. Exploring is a career-oriented program that gives young adults the opportunity to explore a career in law enforcement by working with deputies at the Sheriff’s Office. It is a non-Scouting subsidiary of the Boy Scouts of America. The all-volunteer program is available to qualified young adults who have graduated 8th grade and are ages 14 through 20. Post 97 offers an amazing program by presenting unique insight to the exciting career field of Law Enforcement. Deputies work to train Explorers by providing them with hands on training in realistic situations they may encounter as officers.

If you meet the following requirements and have an interest in becoming a law enforcement officer, this is a great program for you! Explorers meet on the first and third Tuesdays of every month at the Henry County Sheriff’s Office. Meetings are held from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm for uniform inspection, training, discussions and to plan different projects and events to participate in all year long. Come and join the fun!
