The primary responsibility of the Civil Unit is serving civil processes received from the Courts of Henry County, as well as other jurisdictions.
In addition to process service, this Unit executes court orders that include the completion of Evictions, Writs of Possession and the collection of other judgments issued by the courts. In 2009 the Henry County Sheriff’s Office Civil Unit served 31,596 civil processes.
