CHANGES TO FEES MANDATED BY THE STATE FOR SERVICE OF CIVIL ACTIONS

 

The passage of House Bill 1055 on May 12, 2010 has increased certain fees charged by the Sheriff under O.C.G.A.§15-16-21. 

 

Payment of these fees can only be accepted in cash, or by money order, cashiers check, or business check made out to the "Henry County Sheriff's Office". 

 

Personal checks and credit or debit cards cannot be accepted. 

 

The following Sheriff’s Fees will apply effective immediately:

 

Service of Process	$ 50.00
Service of FIFA	$ 50.00
Subpoena	$ 10.00
Execution of Writ of Possession
Magistrate, State or   Superior Court	$ 25.00
Issuance of Nulla Bona
Sheriff	$ 20.00
Superior Court Clerk	$ 7.00
