The Deputies assigned to the Warrant Unit specialize in investigating and serving all arrest warrants issued by Henry County Superior, State, Juvenile and Magistrate Courts. Additionally, they serve warrants issued by the Cities of McDonough, Locust Grove, Stockbridge and Hampton and from other jurisdictions outside Henry County as required by law. This concentrated effort results in over 5,000 arrests per year.
The Warrant Unit also has Deputies assigned to the US Marshals' Regional Task force to investigate Henry Counties most serious felony arrest warrants.
