Telecommunications has multiple responsibilities beginning with the processing and entry of all criminal warrants received and executed by the Sheriff's Office into national, state and local data bases. They assist local and outside agencies by providing information on outstanding warrants and warrant status. Additionally, they perform the criminal history checks requested for employment or other functions requiring background information.
This Unit is located on the second floor of the Sheriff's Administration area and is available to the public from 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday (except holidays). The duties of the Telecommunications Unit include:
